Kristensen Home believes that good interior design can transform every aspect of our lives. We celebrate small spaces and quality finishes. Our specialty is spaces less than 2000 square feet, including small houses, townhomes, condos, ADUs, and AirBnB’s. We recognized that home owners choose small spaces for a variety of reasons. Interior design accentuates spaces of every size, but when square footage is at a premium, a thoughtfully designed home makes every day life flow effortlessly. Kristensen Home believes every space can and should feel special.
Kate Kristensen has has over 10 years of experience designing her own homes and successful Air Bnb’s. She understands the challenge of living within a small footprint, but is convinced that any space can be transformed into a cohesive living area adapted to your unique lifestyle.

A virtual design consultation caters to those with a DIY mindset who need a second set of eyes to make their vision a reality.
Virtual consultations are catered to your needs, but can include any of the following…

Floor plan design
Organization solutions
Help with online shopping
Suggestions of where save, what to repurpose, and what to buy new
Color selection for your project
Help selecting appliances, hardware, tile, etc.
If one session is not enough, or you’d like check ins and help throughout your renovation project, additional sessions are always available.
RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
Residential design is available for both full home or specific room renovation.
The first step includes an initial consultation, either in person or virtual. During this first meeting, we will discuss the space, review your design goals, budget, and go over your family’s needs.
Step 2 includes a mood board and design contract.
Step 3 includes full design and finish schedule with the option to discuss revisions as needed.
Once the design and finish schedule are agreed upon and finalized, a timeline will be discussed for construction, furniture installation, and project completion.
Our goal is to provide you with a transparent and collaborative experience from our first meeting until the final chair is in it’s place.
HOME FURNISHINGS
A home furnishings service is designed to optimize the layout and functionality of your space while curating a selection of furniture and decor tailored to your lifestyle needs. The process begins with a meticulous analysis of your existing floor plan and then a proposal for creative solutions to enhance traffic flow, maximize storage, and improve overall aesthetics. Working with your budget and existing pieces, Kristensen Home can help you select and procure new and antique furnishings that perfectly align with your design vision.
