MY DESIGN JOURNEY
Hi! I’m Kate Kristensen.
After almost a decade in healthcare, my obsession with interiors began when my husband and I purchased a tiny 1920s cabin in the Central Cascade Mountains in 2020. I saw the potential in the sweet little 750 sq foot space and ran with it. That project cultivated a creative seed that had been dormant for too long and soon I was helping friends and family make their spaces special, too.
After the birth of my daughter in 2023, I completed a certificate in Interior Design through the International Design Institute and decided to launch a business to offer my eye for design to the public.
As an interior designer, I am passionate about creating easy, durable spaces using quality materials with an emphasis on craftsmanship and longevity. Vintage pieces and repurposed materials make an appearance in all of my designs. I have a particular love of making the most of small interiors and truly believe any home (and home owner) deserves to feel special. I want to help all of my clients create an interior flow that allows them to live their best lives in the spaces they call home.
